Caritas Communities has been a leader in developing and managing affordable lodging houses for over twenty years. This past year alone we have completed the construction of a brand new 25 room lodging house in the South End and began renovations on Building 5 at the Bedford VA Hospital. This new property will provide 60 rooms for homeless veterans.

By the summer of 2007 we will house more than 600 men and women in our properties, making Caritas Communities once again Greater Boston's largest nonprofit provider of permanent affordable single room occupancy housing.
